Would you like to come to our meeting? Since it's a listserv (online mailing list), it's going on all the time. (As opposed to a meeting that takes place for an hour in a chatroom or an actual offline meeting room.) There are three steps involved:
  1. Use your email address to sign up at riseup.net, our hosting provider.
  2. Go to http://lists.riseup.net/www/info/sia and click "subscribe," OR just go straight to http://lists.riseup.net/www/subrequest/sia.
  3. Wait for your welcome message, and introduce yourself to the list!
There is also a list for chatting and "after the meeting" hanging out. To join that list:
  1. Use your email address to sign up at riseup.net, our hosting provider.
  2. Go to http://lists.riseup.net/www/info/sia-discussion and click "subscribe," OR just go straight to http://lists.riseup.net/www/subrequest/sia-discussion.
  3. Wait for your welcome message, and introduce yourself to the list!

Warning! You will receive a confirmation email when you sign up. The "reply by email to join" function appears to be broken right now; you must go to the url mentioned in the email instead to finish signing up.
